Staying on Target with Aerospace Titanium
Earlier this year TMS Titanium Vice President James Hostetler represented us at the annual SHOT Show in Las Vegas. The Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade Show (SHOT Show®), is owned and operated by the National Shooting Sports Foundation.
The four day show displayed products used for target shooting, hunting, outdoor recreation and law enforcement purposes. More than 55,000 industry professionals attended SHOT Show, with the number of exhibiting companies exceeding 2,500. It was an exciting time to showcase our products to a massive audience of enthusiasts and professionals.
One of the people we met was Chris Mieras from Colorado Springs, CO who hosts an interesting and entertaining YouTube show entitled Going Ballistic. Following the show James and Chris began discussing via email how we could make an interesting video combining both of our passions; titanium and shooting things with high powered ammunition.
We partnered with Chris and Going Ballistic and the rest is history. Check out the cool video they put together and also thanks to MOAB Manufacturing's Justin AKA Joe Dirt for the awesome laser engraving.
There will be more on this continuing saga. The Going Ballistic test shots went thru the 5/8” plate of Aerospace Titanium so we are sending them some 1” Aerospace Titanium to try next. We’ll have the plates on display at SHOT2021!
