Congrats to the 2015 Crower Cup overall points Champion Remy Reynolds! Her father Rick Reynolds was the the 2014 Crower Cup Champion. Keeping it in the family!

Jack Beckman should consider changing his moniker from “Fast Jack” to “Comeback Jack” or, better yet, merge the two.
Jack’s Infinite Hero 2015 Dodge Charger R/T with crew chief Jimmy Prock and assistants John Medlen and Chris Cunningham swept the prestigious 61st annual U.S. Nationals by winning Monday’s Funny Car title in the Mello Yello Drag Racing Series event outside of Indianapolis the day after they won the $100,000 Traxxas Funny Car Shootout.

Darlington, SC – Sept 6

On a night that celebrated history, Dale Earnhardt Jr. led his Hendrick Motorsports teammates to the checkered flag at Darlington Raceway. Earnhardt started outside of the top 20 but battled all the way to an eighth-place result. Kasey Kahne was next across the finish line in 12th, followed by Jeff Gordon in 16th and Jimmie Johnson in 19th.

Indianapolis, IN – Sept 2-7

Robert Hight and the Auto Club Chevrolet Camaro SS Funny Car team were vying for their fourth Chevrolet Performance U.S. Nationals title today and they came within eight feet of achieving that feat today at Lucas Oil Raceway. Hight, the No. 2 qualifier, was racing in his sixth final round at the most prestigious race of the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series and for the first time in three finals he was the runner-up to Jack Beckman. In 2008 and 2013 Hight defeated Beckman but today Beckman used a nearly psychic reaction time to give his team the razor thin edge it needed to get the victory.

Indianapolis, IN – Sept 2-7

Team Kalitta started the U.S. Nationals with only one driver with a clinched spot for the NHRA Countdown for the Championship. Doug Kalitta and J.R. Todd added two more in qualifying and Alexis DeJoria earned her spot on raceday making Team Kalitta a perfect 4-for-4 in Countdown for the Champion-ship standings.
